I don't remember which scene was happening, but I remember 13yo me playing this game when my dad suddenly walked in at an awkward moment. He stared at the screen for a few seconds, then gave me a high five and left. Later in life I would learn that he "feared I was gay" (jokes on him, I'm bi) 🤭

Went back to the original Dark Souls today for the first time since 2018. Hot damn did that game have the *sauce* ⚔️🛡️ There is just something timeless about Lordran's level design and worldbuilding that none of the sequels (or Elden Ring) ever recaptured 👑🔥

Started #DragonAge 2 last night. A couple of hours in and I already love it more than the first. Origins started strong, but after 20 hours the plot ran cold and the interesting worldbuilding explorations weren't enough to keep my interest. And when a game becomes a chore instead of fun, I drop it.
The years I spent at Arkane were some of the best, most fulfilling of my life. Such an incredible group of deeply passionate creators. RIP my dear Arkane Austin. May we all meet again among the stars ✨🌟✨
