To be honest I'm not entirely satisfied with this piece, because I feel like she looks more like a generic elf girl.
Anyway, for something that was started while sketching in a waiting room that I completed in just a few days my gripes with the subject balanced by the technique, maybe.

This is way simpler than your older style but I dunno, there's something that "clicks" with me. I especially like the subtle shading!
