Mmmm... I'm thirsty!
I don't think you should drink that... It looks bad for you.
Nonsense! It makes me feel GREAT! Smarter! More aggressive!
I feel like I could... like I could... like... I... could... TAKE ON THE WORLD!!!

this is why we gotta codify saying "on go"
the rhythm of it is much nicer with shoot. and everyone I've played RPS with has gone on shoot. I fear it may be the better candidate for the ISO standard
I'm not sure I understand the whole thing here, but it sounds like this is already ~70% done in Godot with signals. Would be interesting to take it a bit further 🧐
It would be an approximation of the "true" CA, which is the limit as the resolution increases. I think that would be hard/impossible to solve analytically though and small disturbances may have large effects so idk how well it would approximate, especially over long simulation times
what about a resolution-independent CA that samples regions around the cell rather than direct neighbors?
there is no good war, only good reasons to fight them. and those are few and far between
we also use this concept for regression testing, to find out which commit introduced a bug

bugs me that this is described as a sorting algorithm, when it's a search algorithm. but this is a really nice real world example of binary search
in fact it should be the same as the support functions used with GJK 👀
the music really brings it together fr
Scorn.
yeah I realized that after I replied. it does complicate things, but those have analytic solutions as well
🥴
I think you could do this more directly. like by transforming the points such that the given direction is now down, and then taking the point with the minimum y-coord. or, equivalently, just minimizing the dot product with the direction vector...

This kind of workflow is also made easier in 4.7 with DrawableTexture. This is a cool technique if you need the full power of scenes though!
it will definitely need some tinkering though to get it to work exactly how you want it to still
I think lines_skipped might do what you want there
using visible_characters_behavior = VC_CHARS_AFTER_SHAPING on a Label I believe

flannel is the fabric, plaid is the pattern 🗣️
the token one in particular is pretty tongue-in-cheek, feel free to keep using token in its lexical sense lol
a bug, if you will
mmm good VO
