I feel like theres a lot of overlap between the communities. At least it felt that way when I got into splatoon and I keep seeing the overlap. I don't really play at all, but I'm involved in the community in other ways, hmu if you want to chat or w/e.

Thats going to be a rough habit to break, but I'll keep that in mind and give it a shot.
Oh right:
- Seeding staff are humans with lives and limited time. They will make mistakes, or have missing context and just work with what they have and know. It will never be perfect, even if an automated system replaces them someday.
- The value of a result is dependent on several factors including who was on your team, and who you played against.
- If you won a "div 3 cap event" and only div 6 and under teams played, that result doesn't indicate you can beat div 3 teams.
- Probably more than this that others can add.
- The strength of a given div will vary from season to season based on the teams that signed up.
- Seeding is based on results, the less results you have/provide, the harder it is to seed you and the more likely your seed is off.
- Recent results are FAR more valuable than older ones.
With LUTI divs being recently released I think its important to remind everyone of a few things:
- LUTI divs are not designed to estimate community skill, we just use them for that anyways.
- There are a limited number of spots in each division, not unlimited like in a skill estimation system.
Maybe, but its not exactly a cheap or easy trip.

BTW, IPL is having an official English cast of SplashGo this weekend, a major Splatoon LAN in Japan full of the best players in all of the known universe.

Providing good Splatoon commentary can be a challenge.
Thats why me and @krakenmare77.ink will NOT even attempt to be good commentators for Low Ink Day 1 tomorrow from around 2:30 PM ET till end of day.
Instead, there will be large quantities of shenanigans, jokes, and random off-topic discussions

How would a new organization go about obtaining established status? Would they be able to show 150+ unique on other platforms, or would they need to have someone with supporter tier host events until they achieve that?
Re: API key changes, will there be a period prior to this where I can generate a new API key (under IPL) before the old one expires? I want to ensure tools can smoothly transition. If so/when possible, where will I be able to go to generate a new key?
