I’m almost done with DQXI’s postgame and, good god I have some thoughts on that game…
As a long time fan of FF playing through my first Dragon Quest game, I really really wish FF had a similar level of consistency to it’s games as DQ has (in art direction and gameplay at the very least). I love that FF explores many different worlds but it suffers from a bit of an identity crisis imo
Oooo and right around the time I’m in my biggest JRPG kick in over a decade! Hell yeah, I’m picking this up!

Wooooooow RE6 is soooooooooooooo much worse than I ever thought it could be. It truly makes me wish I was playing RE5 again. Fuck.

Man, RE did so good with 7 and 8, the games had clear identities and introduced new types of horror into classic RE. But Requiem just looks so sauceless and bland in comparison, I wanna like the game and I hope I do, but so far I got nothing to grab onto (other than Leon’s enormous arms of course)

Alright, New Year's Resolution: Play through the JRPGs I've been meaning to get to for years now. There's a lot of games in the Final Fantasy and SMT series I still haven't played and also the entirety of the Octopath series. Also hopefully get a decent gaming PC finally.
Talvez exista um bom motivo pra Atlus remover o título de “Shin Megami Tensei” dos jogos novos e relançamentos nos últimos anos, mas eu odeio isso e acho que na real eles tão cagando pro legado da franquia. Quanto mais eu penso no que a Atlus era antigamente mais puto eu fico com o que ela se tornou
