Excited to be part of a great team

These students have finished their first semester at Texas Tech and Teaching Residency. They grew as teachers because of their incredible mentors. I am excited to see how they do next semester.

My wonderful niece ❤️ graduated 🎓 last night with her associate's degree. The next stop is her high school diploma in May.

It is time for them to walk that stage, and I am so happy to have been their professor.

Counting down to Friday when these ladies graduate 🎓 from Texas Tech with their teaching certification. They all have a job in January. I am so excited to see them with their students 😍 💗.

RIP to a remarkable poet, Nikki Giovanni. I am so glad my mom introduced me to her literary works at a young age. I paid my mom back by surprising her so she could meet Nikki Giovanni.
