Good morning!
Ia! Ia! Cthurkey f'taghn!
Word of the day is a favourite, from old Scots.
To ‘tartle’ is to hesitate while introducing someone because you have completely forgotten their name.
Ms. Scrooge is a fairly decent adaptation. It doesn't hug the source material too closely so doesn't get too anachronistic and is able to capture its own flavour.
Not my favourite version but definitely worth a watch.
I'm five Christmas moves, two mince pies, and a coco deep into festive celebration. I bloody love Christmas movies, even the bad ones. So far:
- Home Alone 1 & 2
- Ms. Scrooge
- The Family Claus
- The Grinch
It's finally December and I can stop cringing when I see Christmas decorations. I really enjoy the festive season, but I'm a firm believer that it should be kept inside December. The more you spread it about, the less special it gets.
OK Whamiors, the Whamageddon is nigh! Good look my brethren and I shall feast with thee in Whamhalla!
You know, it occurs to me that the Ferengi could become one of the most powerful motivators for political and social change if anyone pointed out the profit to be made in selling wristbands and t-shirts :D
Flagrant anti-ferengi propaganda! Where is your tolerance now Hyu-Mon?
The Grand Nagus charges you 15 bars of gold pressed latinum for your oversight!
Kinda looks like Robin Williams
I had the same issue. I think the wording favoured being catchy over clarity. "The medium is the thing worth studying" is probably clearer but not as catchy :D
