ebay has this weird thing going on where someone will list something for way too much money, and then other sellers will see that listing and assume it's actually worth that much when all the actual completed listings sold for way less.

case in point:

(i originally won the auction as the only bidder for $165 which was already pretty steep)

anyway the fact that they relisted it again and are actively sending out offers to watcher should be enough for ebay support i hope

and not just that - they sent me a fucking offer for $500 on it lmfao. scumbag.

so i took down my post saying they had relisted it for $800 because that listing disappeared after i sent an offer on it which made me assume incompetence rather than malice.

guess what just got newly listed for $550 lol
