One of the worst things about LLMs is that I can no longer use perfectly normal words and dashes without being being confused with an LLM.
Not sure you need an explicit statutory basis to claim damages for unlawful removal. But as this thread shows, that doesn’t mean every removal which is later reversed was unlawful. The claimant will have to prove the platform’s liability and the existence an extent of their own damages – not easy

Providers of AI systems or providers of GenAI models that don’t meet the general-purpose threshold aren’t covered.
But as @lilianedwards.bsky.social says, everyone has to comply with EU copyright (if and where it applies, which is a fun other topic).
General-purpose AI model providers that place their model on the EU market have to comply with AIA GPAI (c) provisions, and with the CoP if they’ve signed up.
