So hard to get anything meaningful or important done when you have to work for a living.

"Economic terrorism"? You can't just make up new kinds of terrorism to suit your military/political agenda, you axiological terrorist mouthpiece.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATENTION TO THIS MAYTER.
Congratulations to the support teams of the Trump landing capsule aboard the Trump space mission, who are now safely aboard the USS Donald J. Trump on the American Ocean. The thanks of all real Americans go with us, even to that Canadian guy and the diversity crew.
That front porch is like highway construction. Two people working and 8 more standing by.
Fuckin Bluetooth
"I got two buttons on the side and yes I pressed one. Thanks, Jackie."
I literally cackled
Shoulda switched to Verizon pre-launch. Now they're under contract.
No joke, they actually did.
Oh fun, my first block for polite argument with a misinformed freemarketer! Wish I'd screenshot that since I can't see my own replies now. :(
Sounds a lot like conspiracy, right?
Does a Presidential pardon preclude extradition for war crimes?💭
(a) I didn't say "it is a government enterprise", that's your wording. It's established by the government. (b) the government does not fund it. How much simpler can that be? So I can play both those cards because they're both true.
I respect collective bargaining, but it should be applied equally across government agencies (with possible exception of national security functions).
*run in a way (not running away)
But it's not an enterprise, it's a department of government created in 1792 under the postal regulation power granted to Congress by the Constitution. And the PSRA2022—correct me if I'm wrong—doesn't fund USPS, it just relieves some fiscal obligations concerning employee retirement benefits.
Our founders valued this deeply, enough to write it into the Constitution. What happened that we decided a key part of democracy, that binds us together and provides cohesion, should be running away that risks failure like no other branch of government?
Any other branch of government, asked to run itself like a business, would look like a colossal failure. The question is not whether USPS has failed, it's how much do we as a nation value a committed and reliable communication service. USPS has been dependable. I can't say the same for FedEx.
Do you have a source on the government subsidies?
USPS receives no tax funding. They did receive a loan from Congressional appropriation but a loan is a loan.
Junk mail is annoying to everyone, but it's a necessary part of the funding model +because+ USPS receives no central funding.
USPS used to receive tax funding, but was reorganized in 1970/1971 to be mandatorily self-funding. That's the problem now. Operating costs shoot up (cough fuel) but there's no adaptive governmental funding source.
This is free market capitalism as intended, for bad or for worse.
Not sure he's an expert on what's for children.
Curious bc I use it, but hadn't considered whether firmware changes could help me get more out of it.
Is this firmware to support DDC for Better display to drive with?
Adrian Paul - the one and only
Ron Paul - oh God
Rand Paul - we're really in trouble when this guy is good news
LANDING.EXE requires that you install Microsoft Visual Studio VC++ Redistributable v14.50. Do you want to switch to a public network?
Around the turn of the century a common refrain in software was that interpreted languages are inherently superior because there's no chance of losing the source code.
I never hear this anymore. People have flocked to Go, Rust, and Java. It was never a correct pairing of solution and problem.
The one on the left is Pete Hegseth's pastor.
This is dark, dangerous territory.

Information policy that relies exclusively on abstractions and rules and compliance isn't security, it's insurance.
