What was going through the minds of those jurors who decided to take part in the Diddy Doc. Embarrassing on all fronts. Fangirling and wilful ignorance of the cycle of domestic abuse. They come off as bad as Combs.
Also how were they not sequestered?! Criminal injustice at its finest.
The age old question: is it burnout or am I depressed?
Hope not hate winning out - now for the Greens to do the same in the UK!

The TIP report 2025 has finally been released... right before the shutdown (so it might fly under the radar). To be honest I'm surprised its been released but better late than never I guess. www.state.gov/reports/2025...

This is a view shared by people who know no one going through the stress of the immigration system. People who want to make their lives here but are repeatedly being discriminated against by hypocrites with bad data spouting bile. www.theguardian.com/politics/202...
These McLaren pitstops are killing me. Clearly the wheel guns are not working right and the guys can only work with the equipment they're given but slow stops are becoming common and it's impacting on track.
All I see is appeasement and I feel like I am losing my mind.
Glad this has been called out by the IASC. Seems a purposeful lack of understanding of the complexities of the asylum process and the NRM. It also disregards the experiences of survivors. Distrust in the system is already rife, this rhetoric isn't going to help.

Me looking at the news this morning and being like someone check Jon Stewart, John Oliver and Seth Meyers have the best lawyers please.
The amount of times I've heard the term 'sweater weather' in the last week is insane, and every time I am annoyed they don't say it like these Bronx Beat legends
Honestly working analogue most of the day using a pen and paper has been a nice change.
Long thread: There are two main "defences" I see put forward of Labour which crop up:
1) If you don't vote for Labour you'll get Reform
2) It's all the fault of right wing media painting Labour in a bad light.
The thing is that neither of these are actually a defence of what Labour is doing. 1/23

The current discourse goes to show many folx don't know/understand/want to learn about the realities of our immigration system. Whether that's someone applying for prohibitively expensive visas or the process of how you can claim asylum in this country. Its honestly depressing.
Protests against migrant hotels. Endless uproar about small boat arrivals. Keir Starmer’s ‘island of strangers’ speech. Here’s a reminder from @ZoeJardiniere.bsky.social of why a more humane approach to immigration is needed.

That was stressful but stunning!!!!! Let's go Lando!!!
Listening to TMS still - I honestly thought either one of these teams would have won it in the first session and yet it's only just finished (I may have had to change what I was typing as Bashir took that last wicket!!!)
