also I'd just add a bottom strap to keep it in place and use velcro to attach because I struggle with zippers as someone whos sewn for years, I would not recommend them for a first project lol, velcros easy you just cut to size and sew a box around it
I would definitely suggest watching some tutorials on machine basics before attempting it because there are some funny inverted corners in it, anything that explains how to sew a cube should be pretty helpful
once you have those numbers, its easy to just take each flat plane, add a 1/2 to a 1/4 inch seam allowance (bigger is easier for you as a beginner) and cut each piece out
then you just need to assemble it like a puzzle piece one bit at a time
first thing you'll need to do is take all the measurements you're gonna need
-the pad itself
-how tall you want the "walls"
-how thick for the "walls"
-any angles or cut outs you'll need to accommodate the machine itself like the hand rail
this is absolutely not impossible, but may be a little complex if you've not got a lot of sewing experience
personally I'd use upholstrey foam to create the cushion shape itself because it'll be much easier to make the shapes you need here, then sew a cover separately that can be washed

I largely do not care about mods and generally find them fine, it would be hypocritical of me to think otherwise, but I also think that something relatively high profile like world first, you should probably just kinda grit your teeth, deal with vanilla, and keep your mouth shut

oof its has been, a while, since I last played it unfortunately, but from a little digging, the final boss is lightning weak, not certain if all of the rock bosses are however, I did find it a lot easier with a very high defense tank with sword and shield, and at least one barrier mage also

also since it's your first playthrough of the series the only tip I'll give is that The Descent/Tresspasser DLC's are basically mandatory, Tresspasser especially is the direct lead in to veilguard and they expect you to know the story/lore from those two without a ton of explanation if you didn't
uhhhh 100%ing the entire game multiple times over multiple inquisitors, plus all the dlc, also I have the Rot.
helps that I've been disabled and housebound so a lot of time to devote a ridiculous amount to playing the same games over and over
its free promo, if the inquisitions inner circle is all seen reading his series, he's even more set for life
