The Onion has successfully acquired Alex Jones’ ‘Infowars’ after 17 months of legal battles and has debuted its new logo.
It will be turned into a parody of itself, with the support of the Sandy Hook families.
I feel like I'd enjoy Vintage Story more if the game didn't make me feel like I was so mentally deficient even when following the rules.
I've somehow managed to mess up making charcoal *twice* now despite the fact that the second time was for sure how it's supposed to be.
by any means though and I'm not blinded by nostalgia even if that's the reason I'm really hoping Classic is good.
Really hoping Nexon doesn't fumble when it comes to Maplestory Classic. I'm not going to lie that I have my reservations that Classic is gonna be a total trashfire but I'm trying to remain cautiously optimistic. Not really happy with how they ran MS2 or current GMS though. Classic MS wasn't perfect>
sticking up for themselves. Sick and tired of people letting Google get away with the whole "advertiser friendly" bs when I get literal porn in my advertisements every time I open up youtube.
When did becoming a youtuber become such a grift? Obviously like, it's a job and I'm not saying don't treat it like one but where did all the passion go? I hate how everyone subscribed to the whole, "I need to do this because the algorithm told me to because it's advertiser friendly." instead of>
This is exactly the type of stuff I'm talking about. The video was posted five days ago, he started with no title and then put a title a few days later. If I remember correctly this wasn't even the first change, he put a title in there and changed it again and I genuinely hate it.>
Do people ever ask themselves, why, on this beautiful planet, they are spending time defending a system where 12 billionaires have the same amount of wealth as 4.5 billion people
Fallout 76's seasons adding titles has really shown just how greedy battlepasses have been getting, filling out the rewards with little more than glorified words to apply to your characters and CAMPS. This wouldn't be so problematic if it weren't for the fact that they pump them out in bulk.
I saw one Democrat say something like "there's no point in impeachment because we can't succeed, what we need to do is stop the war" but they don't have the votes for that either and also you can do both??
Okay CTA. This is a good sign.
Hans Zimmer is a transphobe. A tweet reads "I worked for him. I did good work that he praised, but after transitioned he quickly had me fired. He had cue notes named "tr*nnv fight"' etc etc... It's a pattern of abuse that will inevitably come out over time, and I'm glad that the industry is changing slowly."
I regret to inform y'all that Hans Zimmer fuckin sucks.
Uhm... Shooting this... Erm... Thingy...
Lady behind me at The Thing screening last night to her partner "why are they shooting at the dog?" and her partner says very firmly "have you never seen a film before? You watch it and information is revealed"
remembered a good tweet
I swear to God if people harass Goose over TADC's exclusivity in West hemisphere theaters for two weeks I'm going to scream. AFAIK I don't think she controls distribution in this situation, she just writes and directed the show.

US army keeps trying to get on Twitch to recruit vulnerable people.
Last time it was an esports channel in 2020 that failed so hard it resorted to banning people for talking about war crimes & now they are trying again with a US Navy vtuber
It's all attempts at manipulation, always has been
Graveyard Keeper very recently listed their first game for free on Steam to generate hype/attention for the brand as they announced their sequel - even though the DLC for Game 1 still costs full price ($40+ for all).
Now it’s more obvious - they want to profit off AI slop. “Lazy” Bear games indeed.

gaining a body of her own mainly out of desires to be free, to become someone else and despite sharing memories and feelings with the original version of herself she establishes herself as someone else, similar but different and after discovering herself she treats the original more like family.
I've also dabbled on this concept of "Victim of Circumstance Clone" twice. Though one of them is more like having your psyche torn into two from Lycanthropy(Split-Consciousness between bodies) only for the Lycan version of herself to manipulate events to tear herself out of their shared body>
Only to be given another chance. I dunno why but those tropes hit so much harder than "evil doppleganger with no nuance".>
Not that it's really the same thing but Peter B. from Spiderverse for example just really hits hard because he learned of a version of himself who had a great life and ended up dead while he's miserable and divorced from the love of his life because he got cagey and disillusioned from his job.>
It's not even just clones either, Bad Future or Alternate Universe variants where these versions of the characters experienced something traumatic and rather than have another version of themselves suffer the same fate just hits so much harder than the ones lashing out at themselves.>
to a more evil disposition, because it wasn't simply that he was cloned to be evil rather he HAD his life stolen from him. He was just Finn and then he got turned into a sword, and then possessed by a demon who made him a new body and basically used him to keep their body functioning.>
"I'm you but I really don't want to be."
People torn away from their own lives, the lives they thought were theirs only to realize everything they are was fake, an emulation of the real deal, and it breaks them. Even Fern from Adventure Time was a good take on this even if he ultimately succumbed>
One of my biggest grips with dopplegangers in media is the fact that they're usually always evil rather than a victim of circumstance. Don't get me wrong I think evil clones is an alright trope and I'm fine with them existing but like I really wish more concepts would delve into>
