But mostly it has this ineffable quality that was at the heart of what I wanted to try capture in this project — something I've always felt about Miles Davis' "In a Silent Way" from which I drew inspiration.

In part because I’ve always loved the chord progression of the chorus. In part because I felt that it would very much work with the low key jazz fusion feel I wanted.

Wwhile it might be more readily apparent why tracks like “Radio Silence Mode” fit into an album called “Signal in the Dark,” there was never a doubt in my mind that “Dreamcatcher” was part of this collection as well.

The projects I’ve been working on of late have very much been trying to create particular vibes and revolving around a given theme.
