‼️ ALSO: If caregivers cannot afford health care, then their own health is put at risk, consequently making it difficult for them to care for others.
CAREGIVERS DESERVE BETTER. And we need policies that protect them!
People are now being faced with paying skyrocketing health care premiums and caregiving services — and women are more likely to leave the workforce to take on the care responsibilities themselves.
Just how have Trump and Republicans attacked our care economy? Well, they’ve slashed Medicaid and REFUSE to extend the Affordable Care Act tax credits — ultimately threatening both the people that need care and those who provide it. 😡
‼️ The Democratic Women’s Caucus just announced something major: DWC’s new “Caregiving Task Force” is a coalition of DWC members leading the push for policies to support caregiving and caregivers.
This comes at a time when Republican are attacking our nation’s care economy ⬇️
‼️ Mexico's first woman president, Claudia Sheinbaum, just announced she's pressing charges after being groped in the street:
“If they do this to the president, what happens to all the women in our country?”
If our FEMINIST community had the chance to pay an Etsy witch to cast a feminist-related spell, here’s what they’d ask for 🎃🪄

NOT ONE.
At the same time, over 1,000 laws across the US include restrictions for women and gender-expansive people.

This is why we can't just "be more careful" or "trust our instincts."
The system upholds gender-based violence and it's rigged against us. That's why when we say dismantle the patriarchy, we literally mean DISMANTLE THE PATRIARCHY.

On July 24th, they organized a "hack and leak" attack. The next day? Over 13,000 selfies and ID photos leaked. Plus 60,000 other images and private messages.
Let that sink in: Women tried to protect themselves from predators, so predators doxxed them.
The app blew up in July—4 million users with 900k on the waiting list. Women were finally sharing intel about dangerous men and protecting each other.
And apparently that was too much for the rightwing incels of 4Chan.
Tea is a women-only app that lets you run background checks, search criminal records, check sex offender registries, and share anonymous reviews of men you've dated.
Basically everything we SHOULD be able to do to stay safe.
