Not knowing what the worst people in the world were thinking every fucking day

My theory that there's only about 8 people in Ireland continues to prove itself
I think this is my favourite so far. Alice Knox in Blackrock, Co. Dublin who is very glad to be single. #1926census

Bloody yikes
But, BUT, that is so weirdly niche as well???
"The one thing saving our society from chaos is that none of these other suffering groups would conduct a similar blockade because they are committed to an ethic of care."
When I was a kid, I asked my dad could I taste the beer he was drinking. He let me. It was gross.
But, it said 'Probably the best beer in the world' on the tin . I couldn't believe the BEST beer tasted so gross.
Anyway, had a lot to learn about beer.
And advertising
This is a great article, really gets to a lot of what I was angry about, spot on.
I hope as time passes, this 'protest' will be seen for what it really was.
And I won't forget the politicians who sided with them.
Good for the documentary I suppose. But it's so upsetting
it was clearly set up to show what a good dad he actually is in front of Bashir but my god, did it backfire
...the veil keeps getting in the baby's mouth as he puts the bottle in, and the baby starts crying. He tries to 'soothe' the baby, but all he is doing is violently shaking his legs. The baby cries more. It is so fucking dark.
they showed a clip of him the day after that incident. He has the baby on his lap. A veil over the baby's face. Martin Bashir is there asking him about what happened. MJ is trying to feed the baby with a bottle (something he is clearly not used to doing)...
BBC2 are currently showing Michael Jackson: An American Tragedy.
I watched episode 2 today and the funny thing is, almost twenty years away from it, it is incredibly disturbing to watch.
And i mean footage I saw at the time, I see now and can barley look at the screen.
People really do just say anything on this app
it gets extraordinarily tiresome to have the focus on men’s “loneliness” and “frustration” instead of “women now have agency and standards and the men are not actually rising to the occasion”
like or or loather her, that woman has a decades long trail of complete and utter bangers. WHAT?!
he also asked my cousin out by using the phone number she had given when she called to report a break in at her café
He was also phyical with his girlfriend in the late 90s.
It is one of the few occupations I would avoid like the plague if I were dating.
at my 10 yr school reunion, I kissed a guy from my year. Another guy started giving me shit saying, i shouldn't have 'led him on' if I was just going to go off with someone else. I'd been polite with him, but that's all.
He was VERY angry.
I was very confused.
Anyway, he's a Guard now.
just when you think about his victims and how they must feel about this. It's all so gross.
YES! How could I have forgotten about the theme that, eh, tied it all together? 😆
spot on about the new MJ movie
I feel so odd about this movie. And you are spot on
ooooh, scandal!!
I know the 80s were a 'time' but that was something.
Dubious geisha representation, outdated technology, Boy George looking someone named Maureen who says she 'doesn't like to gossip', the press, the paps, American Football and, being thrown in a lake.
Kind of brilliant
Looking for someone who was in boarding school in 1926. Found the school (with some difficulty). Only nuns, teachers and domestics are listed. Is this the usual practice? #census1926
I have devised a simple system for working out if a social outrage, being pushed by the right, is really happening or not. 1) Think, is this likely? 2) End of system
a simple test I devised on the old place
And I do NOT mean on a date. Unless you really hit it off, I suppose
I love robins. They are so bold though. Very cute and very devious. They would absolutely take you out if they could 😂
HUZZAH!!
