That was weird. I wanted to read it on the bus and considered double dipping (again) because Amazon UK always gets it before BW (where I had it preordered) due to time zones but Amazon’s dates for both physical and digital were messed up.

Please tag me if you see any anime that appears to plainly be using AI transcriptions for closed captions. That's CLOSED CAPTIONS (SDH) for ENGLISH DUBS, not subtitles for Japanese audio. I wanna publicly keep track of some of these and start holding platforms accountable.
Important update: I have received word from insiders that Crunchyroll executives have deemed the user backlash to be small enough that their subtitle enshittification & OOONA plans will NOT be cancelled, only delayed.

can't believe there's a Shinji Aramaki AvP anime that's just been sitting on a shelf somewhere for almost a decade
Date a Live S1&2 being streamed by Kaze in the UK and Funi in the US, but despite Sony buying and merging both into Crunchyroll, the UK streams on CR start at S3 and the discs start at *S5*.
I'm only installing it because I hoped it had a better scanner interface than Windows Scan, since there's no proper software for my 20 year old scanner (I'm lucky there's even working drivers)
I've now locked two Adobe accounts, including one Adobe intiailly told me didn't exist which is the one that definitely has the product registered to but is still stuck in an activation loop.
I've been using Photoshop Elements since version 1. I last updated to version 13 because the previous version I had didn't work on Windows 10. I'm now having problems installing/activation that on Windows 11 and what is this shinkflation crock? Paying the same money for a three year license?
Heck. I’ve been reading that wrong for like 20 volumes… glad to see you’re taking stuff like this into account since volume 23 was horribly inconsistent. I did /start/ a glossary to try and rationalise the LN with the anime subs if it’s any help:

The problem is, with games they either get both or one only and that one is the iGPU so if they don’t support crossfire, I’m stuck playing games on the iGPU so I can’t even crank Oblivion.
Oh. Just disabled the dGPU (with the iGPU re-enabled) and the screen has gone blank again. Back on Microsoft basic again. So it only works if both are enabled in device manager while in Catalyst Control Centre the only disable option puts you on iGPU only.
Well, I just created a restore point (which meant turning on System Restore which someone got disabled at some point). What happened is the screen went blank for a minute then came back on basic Microsoft drivers while the dGPU just chilled. I guess only the iGPU is connected to the display outputs.
My old HP Pavilion DV6 has a discrete GPU but is crippled by this “hybrid graphics” idea that AMD had where it runs the iGPU and dGPU in crossfire. In practice, it means a lot of games ONLY see the APU. Always been afraid to disable the iGPU in case I was left with nothing.
ANN broke our record for unique visitors (as counted by our CDN, Cloudflare), in January: 11.1 million. Up from 10.3 million set in January 2023. Historically January has always been one of our strongest months for traffic.
Anyway, I’ve just noticed that BBC iPlayer now has a Sci-Fi, Fantasy and One Piece I mean Sci-Fi, Fantasy and *Anime* section.
Does this thing still not have a proper iPad app?
