I need to start on Season 2

With the new season almost here I have embarked upon my traditional rewatch of For All Mankind, especially because the Star City spin-off is following straight after.

I really enjoyed the Dungeon Crawler Carl books. I went through them all so quickly.

BBC Four is repeating This Life to coincide with its 30th anniversary, beginning with a double bill on Wed 18 March with a new filmed intro from Daniela Nardini. #ThisLife

I've never had a book make me question my own sanity this much 😂

Knowing that I had not previously purchased it but finding it far too familiar to be dismissed left me feeling like I was in the bloody book!

A couple of chapters in and I had to stop and solve the mystery. I was very relieved to find that it had been serialised on the SCP wiki years ago!

I kept hearing people raving about There Is No Antimemetics Division and it sounds like the kind of thing I like so I picked it up a few weeks ago.

Straightaway it started fucking with my head because the more pages I read, the more certain I became that I'd already read it...

My New Year burnout meant I haven't been tracking my reading so finally caught up with it today. Very surprised to find that I've read 16 books so far this year!

I need more stress management tools in my arsenal to stop me endlessly doom scrolling.

Work has been all consuming since the start of the year. I keep postponing the most daunting tasks which is clearly a bad idea.

I know I should take breaks to avoid burning out but I then keep thinking about all the urgent things I need to do.

I'm always hoping in vain the next week will be easier

I do miss this place but it's just been such a hectic year that I've not felt I could ever spare the time.

I've not even kept up with movie watching. Nearly two months into 2026 and I've only watched 4!

It seems the only thing that could motivate me enough to come back here is #Sanremo2026

Nearly 8 hours into the first day back and I've still not accidentally typed 2025 😎

I finally switched our business email over to our website domain instead of the Hotmail one we had been using.

Nearly 5 years that's been sitting near the top of my To-do list.

Feels like I've aged another 5 years trying to get it functional.

Here's hoping it's easier this year

I've definitely been feeling snowed under by notifications whenever I pick up my phone so have started culling anything nonessential. Same with emails.

I need to reduce this overload of information clamouring for my attention.

I keep planning to post here but never do.

I don't know why but social media is feeling like a chore these days.
