get ready to have your syntax lowerered

the savings you got from local imports and using raw queries instead of an ODM surprised me - speed boost from nuking the ODM is a chefs kiss too.
well written article btw: super-easy to consume and i reckon would help a lot of people.
perusing /journaling and /fountainPens got me to go analogue with writing - so satisfying.
still have the BYOK tab open smh; might let it call to me for a while before (eventually) buying
that lil thing looks sick!
i had to click away from the /writerDeck subreddit you linked to so i wouldn't be tempted to buy another gadget (i like retail therapy).
yes
simple (which is not the same as 'easy') advice that i think should be heard/shared more - and something i personally needed to read; thanks Andy
not only is the babies backup 'fit too small, so are the parent's as well :(

the 'temporary' slickness tracks since a lot of companies no-longer use PFAS (forever chemicals).
need a new pan myself since my son scraped the coating off our last pan with metal utensils - analysis paralysis has had me stuck for days now; might rock with one of these
loving the scrolling of seeing others picks!
i genuinely like (basically all) of the competitors; good luck and cant wait to see it
LLM's hate this one weird trick!
im so ready to see how the bracket plays out π
My contract is ending at the end of February and so Iβd like to find a new role ASAP.
I am a senior-level design systems developer / design technologist / front-of-the-frontend developer that specializes in web accessibility.
I work remotely from my home in Winnipeg, Canada. π¨π¦
Shares appreciated!
i cant wait to check out the matches - big fan of the entire lineup π
wild to use tokens as a metric of developer productivity.
i *guess* i can see some logic for the LoC argument (although submitting a PR that has net-less LoC is satisfying BUT may hurt that metric).
i like the fonts and textured/transparent background π€ - well done sir
Chris Coyer, Dave Rupert, Amit, Lea Verou, and a few others that i cant think of at the moment.
that lineup is stellar btw π€
built a little guest chat into my contact page: no signup, just a name and your message
its read-only for me (I wonβt reply there), but Iβll see it

especially when you really, really need a job too
good point!
seem's like you'd need to be blessed to get an interview/foot-in-the-door AND hope that they know what they want (the job) + can competently vet out their candidates too.
unless we're in a hiring-boom of some sort, getting a job in tech can be pretty rough IMO; doesn't help that layoffs from everywhere has created an abundance of devs - ie you're no longer competing with 10 devs, but hundreds/thousands(?) for a particular role (#s here are made-up for this example)
Tow Mater, from the 2006 movie "Cars"
my mind went to the movie "Cars", specifically Tow Mater
granted - i also haven't gone the extension route to nuke them either.
Google's Manage experiments page with all options disabled
must be a skill issue on my part or that doc is 'too dated' - or even possibly a US thing(?); i still couldnt get it disabled π₯΄. i even explicitly have ALL their experiments disabled and still get the AI overviews (screenshot below)
the worst part is I've tried over and over and can't stop Google's AI Overviews π₯Ί - if there's a way to permanently disable it its gone over my head.
another developer snow day! π π
after watching scroll down in YT and read the comments for more info/goodness too!
