The studio behind Hyper Light Breaker is ending development on the game and has confirmed it will be laying off some staff as a result.

The game entered Steam Early Access in January.

we live in the clip farming economy for pvp games bc marketing elsewhere is dead. in games like apex legends, it has (in my experience) absolutely decimated any opportunity for thoughtful play. everyone wants to be the next Sweetdreams, nicewigg, etc and treats lobbies as harvesting grounds for that
