Thoughts on my first time watching Face/Off:

Men will literally do anything but go to therapy

All of us should strive to live a life where no one cheers when we die. Let alone masses of people. & in our memory, no one should feel the need to rush to our defense, because our humanity & patterns of choices to try our best by others transcends any imperfections or transgressions. Seems simple.

My husband is deepening a friendship with his male coworker by sending each other pictures of the food they cook and swapping recipes and it’s so precious.

imagining a bar calling itself a "barely legal club" but it's just a normal bar with ceilings one inch higher than the zoning minimum

Same, but I make an exception for folks who can do it in 1-2 tries. Also if it’s an otherwise quiet parking lot do your thing.

If, however, you have an opportunity to pull through in a crowded lot and you choose to back in? Get bent.

Misinformation from the left is just as obnoxious as misinformation from the right.

We all do the kneejerk share without proper research. But if you knowingly continue sharing misinformation after you've been told otherwise, tell me how you're different than the fake news shitheads.

Fascinating how this also applies to Israel

Obligatory reminder that people who think the pro abortion crowd hates babies have never met pro-abortion folks. One of my friends I met in the field just announced a wanted pregnancy and we collectively lost our shit in the happiest way possible.

“Macro data refinement’s abbreviation ‘MDR’ is the same abbreviation as the French acronym of lol (mort de rire — dying of laughter). This is because everything they do is a joke.”

There is a real, genuine 1st Amendment crisis in the United States right now.

The government is openly retaliating against anyone with a viewpoint it doesn't like: Pro-Palestinian protesters, law schools teaching Black History, pro-immigration public service loan forgiveness seekers.

This also highlights the total cowardice of Biden, Garland, and Smith. This high profile arrest clearly violates numerous laws and constitutional protections. Yet Smith was such a coward that he didn't even argue to jail Trump pre-trial in the docs case even though that was standard in such cases.

UPDATE — Secretary of State Marco Rubio has now commented on the Trump admin’s detaining & attempted green card revocation of a Columbia Gaza encampment student negotiator:
“We will be revoking the visas and/or green cards of Hamas supporters in America so they can be deported.”

“May we find opportunities for small revolutions in the everyday” is a phrase I’ve clung to for the past three years. Highly recommended.

Fall back, spring forward, jump to the left, and then a step to the riiiiiight. Put your hands on your hips and pull your knees in tight.

Duane Puryear holding the AIDS quilt panel he completed before his death. It reads "MY NAME IS DUANE KEARNS PURYEAR. I WAS BORN ON DECEMBER 20, 1964. I WAS DIAGONISED WITH AIDS ON SEPTEMBER 7, 1987 AT 4:45 PM. I WAS 22 YEARS OLD. SOMETIMES, IT MAKES ME VERY SAD. I MADE THIS PANEL MYSELF. IF YOU ARE READING IT. I AM DEAD..."

Every time some elected democrat sucks off Reagan, I think about Duane.

For me, fighting fascism has nothing to do with thinking I’ll win. I don’t fight because there’s an inevitable outcome, I fight because I couldn’t live with myself if I didn’t do something.
