In winter always. On a summers day in the countryside I don’t unless i’m going on a long cycle / using roads with heavy traffic or through urbanised areas I would always use it.

Thank you but my own lived experience is a million times more valuable than a narrow, half-baked report that only focuses on cherry-picked items involving cyclist safety & ignores general road safety & appropriate behaviour.

I am a cyclist, and I always use the road safely unlike yourself and your ‘facts’.

So you’ve no responsibility as a road user to be visible on the road? Infrastructure is obviously a factor but so is behaviour. We have excellent motor infrastructure yet people are still being killed driving cars.

Please stay off the roads until you learn basic road safety.
