That's fair enough. Looking back, my original comment was a bit blunt. It was supposed to be more inquiry than suggestion.

That said, if you have an email address on your domain, swapping is much easier

It's unlikely you'd ever get rid of a Google email. Most likely you'd want a Google account still. Through email forwarding you can still get the emails in your new email address, and setting up auto-reply to notify of your new email address you can direct people to the nicer email service.

Have you considered an email provider that doesn't massively fund/develop AI?
