Councillors tried to zone 288 flood-prone sites for development in past six years
Planning regulator intervened 93 times to stop zoning on sites in nine counties, with more interventions still under way
Perfectly illustrating why regulation and regulators are needed, in particular for sustainable planning and development.

There was a time when an Ambassador would not attend a political gathering like the one described here. Good that the Irish Times have covered it.

The text in black on grey texture background reads: ‘80 years ago, the world chose dialogue over violence. Today, it’s still the right choice.’ The EU logo in bla in the top right corner.
Today marks 80 years of the UN General Assembly.
The mission:
🛡️ Uphold world peace and security
⚖️ Promote social progress & human rights
🌏 Tackle global issues, like climate change
Back then, we chose dialogue over force.
Today, we must do the same.

The thing about a Passive House is that the MVHR system must be maintained and serviced. The Paul unit at home has been working away for 13 years and is overdue a full check-up. Is there anyone in Ireland that does this? Please DM with suggestions 🙏🙏🙏
