The president granting a TikTok extension yet continuing to slash essential research, deteriorate health benefits for veterans and tanking the economy (among what seems to be countless other things) should give you some insight on priorities of this administration. 🤡

Campaigning on “making America great again (?)” & actively making this country a worse place (e.g., bombing the economy, shredding life-saving research, cutting Social Security, tyrant collusion) YET I still see unwavering republican support. When will you realize he does not care about you?

I sincerely think that universities should suspend their productivity standards for scientists and ask them instead to hold town halls in schools, public libraries, museums, shopping malls, and anywhere else and communicate what is being lost with the collapse of the research ecosystem.
