The Dead Come to Stay is another delightful cozy crime novel featuring autistic expat Jo Jones who again finds herself entrenched in a murder mystery, learns more about her own family history, and deepens her relationships with the locals. A heartfelt, twisty read. @bschillace.brandyschillace.com

Oh boy do I feel that. I've been going through all the grief stages with some recent revelations and discoveries, followed by personal turmoil as to where I'm drawing lines and what I will continue to read/collect. It's so complicated, oof.
Ok well that might just hook me in, I โค๏ธ a delightful accent!
That gets great reviews, have you read the rest in the series? I've only dipped my toe into mysteries, mostly Agatha Christie/Poirot, one Louise Penny. Thoughts?
What in the World?! Looks entertaining, I'd love an update after you finish it. I could use something funny!
John Green posted an interesting take on audiobook consumption on YouTube. I love thinking about how consuming books in different ways changes your role and experience. I am so grateful for audio, I consume probably 80% of my books that way these days. I'll check out your picks!
Love that, going to look up those books. Isn't it fun to see how your perspective can change on a book as you get older? To Kill a Mockingbird was a totally different book to me as an adult.
I didn't know there was a movie based on Caste, thanks for the tip!
I'm currently reading Onyx Storm by Rebecca Yarros, Unmasking Autism by Devin Price, Buried Deep by Naomi Novik, and The Possibility of Life by Jaime Green.
