Unfortunately I can't actually read the paper because [gestures broadly at the state of academic publishing,] but I contributed to science! Perhaps I will go to the University library for it at some point.
I haven't been active in academia in six years but today I was delighted to come across a very specific niche research paper, wonder if they cited my work in it, and upon checking discover that they *did*.

I saw this cover at the library when I was a kid and checked the book out based almost entirely on the strength of the cover art. It... probably wasn't the best place to start the series actually. No regrets.
