I feel like it would be just my luck that the minute I get rid of it, I get asked for it. I suppose I could always buy a policy again in the future if needed.

I did a project once with an agency that now requires it. I find that weird. I get that insurance is for worst-case scenarios, but a writing business is SO low risk.

I remember making a LOT of phone calls when I was looking for a policy. It seemed like "freelancer" was a no-no word for many, so I started saying small business owner. I have one agency client who requires it, but I don't do enough work with them to make it worth it...

Freelancers — do you have business insurance?

I hold General Liability and Professional Liability policies because a former client required them. But I feel I don't need them? Most clients don't ask about insurance, and the monthly premium feels high.
