Not Swatch Internet Time? 😄

@megacrit.com would you be comfortable with me using the card/relic/potion artwork from your game on my hobby/demo site here? Id' love to make the run pages look prettier!

Slay the Spire 2: Atmosphere edition - byJP I made a mod for Slay the Spire 2 that lets you publish your play data to your Atmosphere account & a website to show them off!

I built a mod for @megacrit.com's excellent Slay the Spire II which posts your run stats to your Atmosphere account, and a (simple!) website that shows them off! sts2.byjp.me/byjp.me/3miq... — it links in with @gamesgamesgamesgames.games too 🤩

As an aside; it was a minor annoyance that my leaflet's description, tags & the post I'd written for Bluesky didn't stick around when I refreshed/re-signed in.

I figure this might be the same if my session expired while I was writing? Could you drop those bits of text in local storage somewhere?

No problem — thank you for the fast fix! :)

@leaflet.pub Hey folks, I'm getting a 500 when I try to log in, and was getting an error when I tried to publish, shout if I can offer information useful for debugging!

Thank you! I'm *extremely* new to modding, and mostly tinkering with some 'PESOS' ideas for atproto 😊 I'll take a look at the lexicons & shout if I get stuck anywhere interesting!

@gamesgamesgamesgames.games if I was considering building a mod for Slay the Spire 2 which posted your run data to your PDS, do you think the gggg.g lexicons would be a good fit?

2 days ago 2 0 1 0

Atproto feels like a great place for true engagement tracking; if articles offer a “log in with atmosphere account/Bluesky” it could be as simple as letting people engage with a trivial opinion (I agree/disagree + I liked/disliked it) and then seeing who marked it. Real signal!

You should totally redirect to @sifa.id 😄

i need to get around to writing about that communal distributed task orchestrator (think community-run k8s) built on AT. haven't built it yet—just want to write about my high lvl ideas for it.

all kinds of fun globally distributed systems that can be built thanks to this new primitive.

And if you’re writing in Typescript, Prototypey will make writing the lexicons trivial! 😊 github.com/tylersayshi/...

Add Tangled as git provider by jphastings · Pull Request #261 · unjs/giget Adds support for Tangled as a provider. I've had to use customised URI parsing to support both usernames and DIDs (e.g. did:plc:abc123def456 or did:web:example.org, as well as tangled.org or by...

Hey #atprotoDevs; if you use @tangled.org and the giget tool/package I'd love feedback on my PR to provide it with support for Tangled!

Just watched Hamnet with my wife — a bold choice for two people about to become parents for sure, but an *absolutely fantastic* film, with the best climax I've seen in a very long time. We loved it!

Yes, three gold rings next to each other is sometimes a lot 😳

My hand with three simple gold rings; a wedding band, another band with a single twist in it on the same finger, and a signet ring tucked away on my little finger.

My hand with three simple gold rings; a wedding band, another band with a single twist in it on the same finger, and a signet ring tucked away on my little finger.

My now wife proposed to me, so I have both a wedding band and this gold Möbius band for the engagement! 💛

She knows I’m a nerd, and liked the “two and one” symbology 😍 (like, if you cut a Möbius band directly down its centre, you get two, interlocked but separate, Möbius bands)

Mental Poker on atproto I noodle about my pet atproto project for playing board & card games without a trusted 3rd party, and the foundations I'd need to make it a smooth and fun experience for people!

What would your list of pretentious words look like?

Asking for a friend who definitely isn’t building an Atmospheric game playing prototype…

I mean yes, but also *how* 😅

The Graphic Audio full cast audiobook is utterly great btw (I’m now at 3.5 “re-reads”, with two of the books and one-and-a-bit of the audiobooks 😂)

Even better: stop treating tech monopolies as if they're an immovable part of the landscape which we can only accept, ban, or regulate. We have the means to replace toxic social apps with better ones, including youth-designed and youth-governed alternatives.

I love this, but I think it breaks in a bunch of non-English languages 😅

German: your spider monkey
Italian: your snail
Russian: your dog (mild insult)
Hungarian: your maggot

Where can I help? #iBuildTheAtmosphere

6 days ago 1 0 1 0

Perhaps an OpenCollective; not cos domains are expensive, but cos this should be communally funded from day 1.

We can also bake translations in from the beginning, and pay people for translation review, illustrations and fund wisp for the hosting.

6 days ago 1 0 1 0

This is awesome!

If you’re game, make a repo on Tangled, get it auto publishing to a domain (use @wisp.place and take atmosphere.wisp.place for now?) and let’s turn the discussions into PRs 😊

i could never use llms to write a blog post

as that would require me to know what i was going to say beforehand

Yes! I think the lack of compose-able feeds was the thing the Bluesky team were trying to address with Attie? But I prefer the vision of 'communities' that @danabra.mov called out recently — groups of people curating windows on the Atmosphere together.

Bonus: you publish "an AirLift" by publishing a record to your PDS; the extension's homepage lists your installed AirLifts *and* the popular ones your fiends are using.

And AirLifts can be flagged as scammy/bad by your community!

And, and… guys this looks like fun 🤩 But no more projects for me 😅
