Let me introduce my lovely little (gremlin<3) tinkerer Meg.

I knew that for the acting portion of the portfolio that I wanted to include some kind of "expression sheet" thing. Meg, as my go-to comfort OC, felt like a natural choice.

For example you can see the difference in how I draw my OC Meg today compared to 2 years ago.

Meg has been with me for a while and I love it when you can see the progression of an artists skills over time by how they draw the same OC over and over again.

OC obsessions are so healthy for artists<3

Working on my application hasn't been easy, it's been tough and draining at times, both emotionally and physically...but... It's also been so much fun and rewarding. I look back at my application from 2 years ago and can see how much I've improved, and it goes to show that my efforts have payed off.

Over 5 months of prep and work came to a conclusion yesterday, as I sent in my portfolio and application to the Character Animation course at The Animation Workshop.

Now we wait...

I just got my very own Ipad a few days ago and I just gotta say...the freedom of not HAVING to be in my room to draw is so...freeing. I love my room but when you work from home all the time, it starts to feel a bit...restrictive
