I lived in Lyndhurst while a coal plant produced electricity in La Trobe (Victoria, Australia).
When I left the windows open on the La Trobe side of the house, everything was covered in coal dust. This was 2009-2015 for context.
Coal is dirty.
Solar is much cleaner and cheaper in the long run.

I remember when we had the CES instead of privatised employment agencies. Not only was less govt $ wasted and the divide between rich and poor less, but people were treated with more respect and services operated better.
