The only way to "find middle ground" with insane right-wingers is by becoming insane yourself.
At the edge of a decaying concrete tunnel, a woman with shoulder length blonde hair holds out her hand to release a bluebird. It spreads its wings wide taking flight into warm placid skies. The view out of her aerie is from behind. She squats with knees out, comfortably balanced, but noticeably her body is bare. Her clothes lie in a pile beneath her as the sun cuts across the opening of her makeshift sanctuary.

I don’t know where this came from. It started out being part of my Faded Star series, but after painting the sky and distressed architectural details, I felt more inclined to “inhabit” the foreground space... 1/3

This is a painting - watercolor and gouache on toned paper. At the end of a ledge is a gateway made of stone and branches. Stepping through brings you to a winding path, nighttime, and woods. Pumpkins are present on either side of the gate.

The figure on the left is attempting to upset the balance of the scales. The middle figure claws at the basket with the heart inside.
