ℍ𝕖’𝕤 𝕓𝕖𝕖𝕟 𝕚𝕟 𝕒𝕟𝕕 𝕠𝕦𝕥 for as long as he could remember. At the times he was lucid, he remembered no one in the room. His mood had significantly improved since then, however.
“Worse now that you’re here,” Leon grumbled. His eyes hadn’t changed since that encounter; remaining their blackness.
𝕃𝕖𝕠𝕟 𝕨𝕒𝕚𝕥𝕖𝕕 𝕗𝕠𝕣 𝕙𝕖𝕣 to leave first before following. The old facility they were plopped in front of was abandoned. Likely a laboratory inside or something evil.
Leon went past Tamara as he walked up to the building.
“… I’ll watch your six.”
She’d have to trust him, because he didn’t trust her.
ℍ𝕖 𝕘𝕣𝕚𝕥 𝕙𝕚𝕤 𝕥𝕖𝕖𝕥𝕙 𝕓𝕦𝕥 had to admit that fighting the thoughts made him utterly tired. He didn’t say anything to the comment as he just let his head lean forward and shut his eyes.
“… I’m not crazy enough to see things your way,” he grumbled, falling to sleep. “… just resting my eyes…”

The color of his eyes had changed; the sclera of his eye was black while the iris had turned into a harsh yellow. It matched the doctor’s own appearance.

He truly didn’t feel pain now, just a lingering warmth from the lamp earlier. But there was no telling what was causing it.

Leon walked with her and after they made it a few blocks away, they rounded into an empty building. It was an abandoned convenience.
When he saw the metal closing cage on the top of the entrance, he tugged at it so that it could block the exit for now. Relaxed, he sat on the floor.+

“I feel the sentiment. But the most important thing is that you’re here for them. Make sure their efforts aren’t in vain.”
It was a statement he couldn’t believe himself yet. Ironic.
𝕀𝕟𝕤𝕚𝕕𝕖 𝕠𝕗 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕧𝕒𝕟 and strapped in was a tired but young looking police officer. He sat up straighter when the van opened to the side, watching as the woman of the hour came to sit next to him.
When she settled, he tried a smile.
“Hello,” he nodded. “You’re the SOLDIER they’re sending in?”
𝕃𝕖𝕠𝕟 𝕘𝕝𝕦𝕖𝕕 𝕙𝕚𝕞𝕤𝕖𝕝𝕗 to her, narrowing his eyes at the ones that appeared to be coughing.
Shaking, he lifted his gun as he shot a snarling officer. His heart sank.
“Damn it!” He cursed. Not enough. They couldn’t save everyone.

“𝕃𝕚𝕜𝕖𝕝𝕪,” Leon nodded to her, smirking back. “But let’s hope we’re on the same side still. Or at least, within our own controls.”
His eyes turned to glance behind her before waving her off.
“Seems like you’re going now. Your friends are lucky to have you.”
Leon in comparison, was a one man show.
