As the Second Committee collapsed, it splintered into independent bodies. Some attempted to brutally reinstitute the old order while others embraced the chaos, becoming violent bandit armies. Accounts differ on which were the greater misfortune to face.

This is an image of a large mech from the Lancer TTRPG in the shape of a spider. It is using an IPS-N Drake frame, but is fully not humanoid, walking on six giant spider legs. The legs themselves have large plate shields attached to them. At the front of the spider, it is sporting two short arms ending in miniguns. One minigun is raised and firing, the other is lowered and smoking, both have piles of spent casings beneath them. The spider's body is hiding behind one of the plate shields on its front leg, and incoming fire is ricocheting off of the armor, splintering into a spray of hot metal. The main body of the spider is a dark grey blue, clearly worn and scratched from overuse. The legs are a desaturated red, and are even more damaged than the rest. They are pock-marked with dents, bullet holes, and scratches.

Recently finished a #LancerRPG commission of a super-custom Drake in the form of a spider. It has two guns, plate shield legs, and a very straightforward approach to problem solving.

What we have here, at first glance, is a calendar showing the months of December and January - in a standard week-per-line calendar format. The days methodically roll on from one to the next, week by week, working their way down to the end of December, at which point things get weird. As soon as Christmas has come and gone, the chronology of the days begin to detach from each other, the dates of each day gradually morph into confusion and lose all semblance of order and meaning until the entire last week of December is a surreal, vague and swirling mess of confusion. Out of this haze of uncertainty appears the one solidly identifiable day: “New Years Eve”, and then after it floats by, and the new years day hangover gradually subsides, the first week of January slowly and miraculously starts to reassemble itself like a decomposing animal in reverse. By the 5th of January, life is back to normal, you’re back at work, and you regretfully know exactly what day it is.

And so it begins…

A second version to this piece! I really liked something with vibrant colors and crispy lines to the original one.

The picture depicts a VICEROY Mech from the MECH TTRPG LANCER By Massif Press. The mech is a slender frame with very humanoid proportions. it's slightly elongated arms are armored on the forearms and the middle of the upperarms, ending in large shoulder pieces that possess missile shelves. The lid of these shoulder devices are lifted to expose the missiles still in their slots. The head of the mech is very Gundam ZAKU inspired with a large horn protruding from the middle and two smaller ones protruding from each side. The 'face' of the mech resembles a helmet with dark slots where three green circles are seen, acting as the eyes or sensors of the mech. The mechs chest is larger than it's torso with a very aerodynamic, plane front shape. The mech has digitigrade legs that end in hoof-like parts that are very industrial but blend well with the sleek design. The mech has a green cloak falling off one side and a slimmer one falling off the other behind it. The machine is also holding a type of missile/grenade launcher that is chunky. An extra Ammunition piece is protruding from a dark and gold-rimmed shield held from the mechs left shoulder. The mech has a few vents in it's design. One oval-shaped right in the center of it's torso just under the chest, and two large vents protruding from the back of it. The mech is stark white with black as a secondary colours and golden highlights in select places, such as a couple of rings on the legs, the joints of the fingers and some seams and pieces on the torso and arms.

Lu and Wren, two child protagonists of the story, excitedly race forward to begin their adventure. The kids are joined by various animals met during their adventure, and all are running along the outer rim of a grassy globe. Inside of the globe are layered biomes. The first is a water biome where giant axolotls are happily soaking and basking in the sun. The second, which is the very center of the globe, is a sunset landscape where giant guinea pigs loom like hillsides.
