Thrilled to share that ANC 2B unanimously passed my resolution requesting the Office of Planning significantly increase Dupont’s density in a revised draft Future Land Use Map.

I’m planning to introduce a resolution at our April ANC 2B meeting calling on OP to increase density in this map in Dupont. The status quo is unacceptable.
This draft map from @opindc.bsky.social fails to meet the moment we’re in, where a housing crisis has made life unaffordable in Dupont and across DC. We need more residents, more density, and new construction to attract more/better retail and become an affordable neighborhood once again.
Thanks to the folks behind this month’s Dupont Circle Neighbor Happy Hour for putting on a great evening. Had a chance to share more info about the ANC and how folks can get involved (join a committee now, run for office in November!). Looking forward to the next one!
Good morning from the Dupont Festival! Six more weeks of winter 😑
Relieved to finally see some serious plowing and, really, snow removal in north Dupont.
This is great news for Connecticut Avenue businesses! Soon, 500+ more people will be living just steps aware from CT Ave, the new plaza, Metro, and more. www.bisnow.com/washington-d...
This is very frustrating and the wrong outcome. I’ve enjoyed coffee with many neighbors here including in colder months. We should further reduce the fee below $15 per square foot so that business is like this can continue operating streateries.
The DC Holiday Market opens tomorrow, in a new location on New Hampshire Avenue just north of Dupont Circle!
Excited to see New Hampshire Avenue turned into a vibrant destination for the next few weeks.
Checked out the @ddotdc.bsky.social Bus Priority open house for Columbia and Harvard Roads last night. The buses on these corridors come right down to our district on Connecticut. Option 2 seems like the best — it will make using these routes much faster when coming to or from 2B01!
Thanks to @ggwash.org for reminding me about #WeekWithoutDriving! Today was a bike>walk>bike>metro>metro>walk kind of day (breakfast>work>Macy's>2B01>Tennis Zone Plus>2B01)
I'm looking forward to the ANC 2B special meetings on September 3rd from 6-8pm, where we'll have the opportunity to vote on a resolution condemning the dangerous and unwarranted use of the military and secret police on our streets.
I was thrilled to see DDOT came out and fixed up the broken sidewalk on the 1700 block of 19th Street, by the Sedgwick. This got resolved l only a couple of weeks after I put in a 311 for it! Before/after:
Earlier this month, I went for a walk around the district and made some 311s. So far, DDOT has fixed the flexpost and pruned the greenery that blocked this sidewalk. I’m tracking this publicly at anc2b01.org/actions.html
I was honored to be sworn in as the commissioner for ANC 2B01 today. Thank you for doing the honors CM Pinto!
The CT Ave deckover project is going to be transformative. I'm glad construction is underway, and I'll be a resource to help make sure negative impacts of construction (especially to businesses on CT and residents along traffic detours) are mitigated. www.washingtonian.com/2025/06/23/w...
