I suspect that in a post-apocalypse world anything on an electronic device would be inaccessible, so it's good to focus on hard copies.
Newty but nice!
Who doesn’t love being cheered up by a load of absolute mumbo-jumbo from time to time?

No visit to the V&A is complete without you finding something on display that you have owned.
Today I found two things!
An old fashioned police box (Tardis) on the streets of London.
A huge monument in a London cemetery, with gravestones in the foreground.
How weird to encounter both the #Tardis and the #Pandorica in London today.

I pronounce the argument that Americans need guns to protect us from a tyrannical government officially dead. Kaput. We're living under a tyrannical government and the only people suffering from gun violence are innocent children and civilians. No one's using them against this government.

Personally, I think anyone capable of driving a car to their #allotment should be capable of taking their ‘burnables’ home for their green waste recycling bin, or driving to their waste recycling facility.
Keep Walking The Walk,Mayor Mamdani.......
Such an overuse of the Norman Rockwell classic image. I wish people would stop.
It’ll take some sweeping changes. I’m not sure they’ve got the bottle to do it.
Maths evidently not your strong point. 🤣
Wash your mouth out!
Then go for a facial scrub. 🤣
I’ve long assumed that Samuel Alito was the worst Supreme Court Justice in recent history. But I’ve come to revise my view in light of recent comments made by one judge in particular. Let me explain... robertreich.substack.com/p/the-worst-justice-in-m...

So pleased Laura Kuenssberg is back this week. That means there is no chance Robert Jenrick will be asked about his promise to cut flight tax after a £40k donation from an airline owner.

A front cover of a book called The Flora of Derbyshire, with a photo of Mossy Saxifrage in a grassy limestone dale, set against a blue sky. A yellow sticker says 'Online Edition with Flora Supplement for 2014-2024.' Book authors: Alan Willmot & Nick Moyes
It's nice to get back to a bit of editing again!
Online edition of The #Flora of #Derbyshire coming a bit later on this year.
Reform UK’s Richard Tice allegedly failed to pay £100k corporation tax.
He ran 4 shell companies that reportedly didn't pay tax on profits from 2020 to 2022, when his firm donated £1.1m to party. Also used a trust in Jersey.
Claims tax non-payment was due to an error ... but six years elapsed.
