Bigs this question is for you! How do you help your Littles to be little, even when it's not possible? Are there certain actions, activities, etc. that you find to be helpful to getting your Little feeling their best without full-on little time?

This question might be hard for some to answer or be something that we don't want to consider. When is it all too much? The outfits, the behaviors, expectations, etc.? What makes you decide you need to pull back instead of going headlong into the fray?

Bigs/Littles, how do you go about picking your aesthetic? The clothing, textures, patterns, etc.? What makes you think, "yep, this is what I want to reach that headspace that I'm looking for."

So now I ask again, what do you consider the Pros and Cons of conventions?

You also have to deal with occasionally coming across that random person that just leaves a sour taste in your mouth (not that kind!). The ones that make you wonder if going on this trip was worth it if you had to put up with people like them.

You also sometimes get unrealistic ideas of what you can do in your everyday life. It's not that it's not possible, just very difficult for everyone in all situations to be able to do everything that you can see people doing there.

As with most great things, there are a few cons to it. Con Drop can be super real and extremely difficult to get through. I remember having to pull over on my way home from my first CAP having a panic attack thinking that I would never get to experience something like that again.

I also have learned so much from people. From classes to people from other parts of the world, I have discovered so much about not just this community but also about myself.

Honestly for me, I've found some of my closest friends and supporters in this life from interactions at CAPCon. I'm in communication with people that I met back in 2016 at my very first CAP. That means they've been part of my life for nearly 1/3 of my life!

Now that we've had a few days to step away, let's talk about conventions. What are the Pros and Cons of Cons?

Littles, what are the things you look for from all Bigs? (Persona; this is something I got from Fiona at CAP). I'm not asking about a particular person in mind, I'm asking when you think of a CG, what are the qualities that they personify?

I'd really love to win the lottery and just spend my days taking care of my sweet little boy.

Here's the thing kiddo. Everytime I let you try to be a big boy when we visit friends, I end up having to clean up a mess. I don't want to pay for another couch to be cleaned so let's just put the diaper on.

Besides, you're cute in the jersey with no pants ;)

Of course, I can make my resolution "remove pants from boy when in house at all times". I resolve to make that happen therefore, it's my resolution.
