After a bloody long, busy, and hard week, I am eating strawberry trifle in bed while watching a storm chasing livestream and browsing for more plants. I’m sorry, but I win Friday night, there are no arguments to the contrary.

Spending over a ton on plants to renovate the shady bit at the back of the garden is self care and I sharn’t hear anything else of it.

In a weird place at the mo. Things are largely going great, life has settled if still busy; but I continue to find that I just don’t have time or energy for solo things which in turn becomes a dwindling interest in them. Growth? Maybe? I don’t know, it’s just weird.

It seems that I have now entered the “nap era” of my adult career, progressing straight to expert napper as my body timed it between caring duties. Quite impressed, really.
