bug bash by @linzu.bsky.social is now out in MEAP.
a bug bash is all about finding those bugs before they reach production — it's basically a collaborative testing event that complements your usual testing.
plus, it can be a lot of fun :)

if you can't make it, @alextalksdatalakehouses.fyi's architecting an apache iceberg lakehouse is a good alternative.
get 45% off his book with code icebergsummit26 through April 23rd: hubs.la/Q049mWZ70
featured books:
• rearchitecting LLMs by pere martra
• CUDA for deep learning by elliot arledge
• domain-specific small language models by guglielmo iozzia
• building reliable AI system by rush shahani
the appeal of small models grows daily.
they're faster, cost less, and easier to control. for many, those benefits outweigh what LLMs bring to the table.

these video courses are really such a cool way to engage. as much as we'd prefer that folks go with our subscription plan, it's great that they're still able to do so if they choose to go with another's.
every type of review has its own benefits. for example, reviews by ppl who are familiar with the topic but still come away with something new are cool because it shows depth. but the reviews from ppl who come with your POV give the book a whole new level of authority (for lack of a better word).
can't wait to hear what you have to say about the others!
