Thanks to all those who gave me positive feedback on my paper on Mary Cowden Clarke and Dickens’ 1848 production of The Merry Wives of Windsor @bavs-uk.bsky.social 2025 as part of the Gendered Entertainments panel. Made a very nerve-wracking experience a positive one!

Had a great time @bavs-uk.bsky.social 2025 in #Oxford - as well many fascinating papers and new friends made, there was also a seance, a punch & Judy show, a fiendishly difficult quiz at the conference dinner and a private tour of the @ashmoleanmuseum.bsky.social victorian galleries.

The beautiful cathedral-like library at Murray Edwards College, Cambridge. Designed by Chamberlin, Powell & Bon, 1966.
Photographed in 2017 for my ongoing personal photography project, Beautiful Brutalism.
