Maybe it's because Alex Garland is directing. Or maybe I'm excited to see they'll translate an open world game with FromSoft style storytelling into a theatrical release.

I dunno, there's just something, I'm excited to see/hear more about the film.

I'm kind of ambivalent about videogame adaptions/movies etc, but something about the Elden Ring film is intriguing to me.
