i found it much easier to comb once after conditioning it more regularly
i found that conditioning mine regularly helped quite a bit, and then i’ll towel dry to damp & work in a little beard oil or wax (oil when it’s cold because wax solidifies.) I tried combing it out while blow drying for a straighter beard but my husband isn’t a fan so i air dry & it’s more textured
