(1/2) Some roles stay with you long after you leave them. After 17+ years at the European Research Executive Agency (REA), it’s time for a new chapter.
REA became more than a workplace - it’s a community & a mission. Grateful for brilliant colleagues & researchers I worked with.

A political graphic featuring a blue and yellow colour scheme. On the left, a blue ribbon adorned with gold stars (from the EU flag) and a yellow and blue ribbon (from the Ukrainian flag) are intertwined in a knot. The right side features the bold white text "YOUR FREEDOM IS OUR FREEDOM" against a blue background, with a small European Union flag icon in the bottom right corner.
Four years of extraordinary courage. 🇺🇦
Ukraine’s fight for freedom is the fight for our shared European values.
The EU stands united in its unwavering support against Russia's war of aggression. We are with you for as long as it takes.

The image illustrates the lifecycle of a coat, showing the options after it is unsold. On the left, there is a coat labelled ‘unsold. A red downward arrow indicates that product is damaged or unsafe to be sold, leading to disposal, represented by a pile of damaged clothes. A green upward arrow shows that the coat can be resold, remanufactured, donated, or reused, resulting in 'new life’ represented by a pile of coats ready for sale. The European Union flag is in the bottom right corner.
Ever wonder what happens to clothes that never get sold?
Around 4-9% of all textiles in Europe are destroyed before they even get the chance to be worn.
With the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation, we’re simplifying the process for businesses to reduce this waste ⬇️
🔸 Destruction is only allowed under clear exceptions, such as safety reasons
🔸 Easier ways to show how unsold goods are managed
Instead of discarding, businesses are encouraged to:
🔹 Manage stock and returns better
🔹 Prioritise resale, donations, and remanufacturing
