We are the CNY Children's Environmental Health Center at Upstate Medical University. We protect children and families from environmental health hazards. Serving Herkimer, Jefferson, Lewis, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga, Oswego & St. Lawrence, we work with health experts to provide the support you need.
Five Upstate practices—Upstate Family and Preventive Medicine (the Gold and Blue teams); Adult Medicine; Upstate Internists; and Inclusive Health Services—have been recognized as a New York State Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) by the National Center for Quality Assurance (NCQA).
Our Pet-A-Pooch event was a pawsome success! 🐾 Employees had the chance to take a well-deserved break and cuddle with some adorable therapy dogs.

Upstate has opened a state-of-the-art Throughput Operations Center designed to optimize patient flow across its two hospital campuses.
The $2.38M center has 22 live feed monitors and 28 computer stations offering hospital officials a real-time view of operations.

Upstate celebrated the 24th annual Dr. Sarah Loguen Fraser Day with a special presentation for her 175th birthday.
Loguen Fraser, one of the first African American women physicians, earned her medical degree in 1876 from SU's College of Medicine, which is now SUNY Upstate Medical University.
