are you talking about funnel? Tailscale's basic tunnels are not really supposed to be short lived and only funnel is designed to share something to the wider internet. Would love to clear up any misconceptions here

This is an excellent perspective and something I missed. The downside of blogging is the inability to edit, if I could I’d definitely add this point of view. Thank you!

I don’t think my I’d claim that PLG negates the need for advocacy, I think in an ideal world having both is the optimal solution. The reality I’m trying to put across is that in a world driven my metrics and figures and measurable outcomes, PLG is easier to choose
