I’m getting less confident the more I hear pundits not giving Man U a chance. Just looked at the odds - Man U 3/1 at home and Villa odds on. 😬 switching off the radio and getting the rosary beads out.

Pride for sure, but what an ending it would be to get Champions League football again. We deserve it. So many things went against us particularly early in the season & Unai’s brilliant philosophy of “next man up” has stood to us. Guys like Bogarde will deserve massive praise if we get there today.

It’s even worse than just the money though as there would be 6 other premier league teams in the market for champions league players which could hurt us.

Yeah I agree. I’ll be disappointed if we don’t make champions league for sure, but if we can do our bit and win I think I’ll take that. Sure it’ll be a case of what ifs but there would be a lot of positives. #UTV

Just try to focus on today mate and the good things around you. Do something today for you that you can look back on tomorrow and smile about. Doesn’t have to be big, cut the grass, clean the clothes etc are all little tasks to look back on and smile about.

I actually think he’d happily stay. I obviously don’t know but it seems our model at the moment is to generate money by moving on some of our best assets. I guess what I’m saying is it wouldn’t surprise me if it’s Villa that are generating the interest not the other way around.

Understood. My only point is that you implied United are no longer a trophy winning machine to which I pointed out they won trophies the last two years and are in one of the most prestigious finals of the club calendar this week.

I hear you but you can’t deny that while United are a mess they continue to win trophies. If they win on Wednesday, I think this would be 3 seasons in a row winning trophies while playing poor.

Lost in semi final of conference league last year to winners, semi final of FA cup this year to winners and Q-final of this years champions league to finalist (at worst). This actually makes it worse for me as it shows how incredibly close we are to silverware but we can’t quite grab one. #utv

I think we need a new format/rules for an award recognizing rising PL players. Having guys with 111 (Elanga), 89 (Pedro), 87 (Palmer) and 99 PL appearances (Saliba) up for what's ostensibly an award meant to nominate rising talent feels a little icky

Oh man that’s not good but for once I guess you can think there could have been worse things to worry about today. I don’t suffer too often from migraine, maybe once or twice a year, but when I do, black out room and sleep is the only remedy.

Oh wow, that sounds like a horrific couple of weeks wait. Seems like good news though. Here’s hoping the head ache improves sooner rather than later though.
