I’ve been for a hearing test probably every other year since I was 8. but always the «just a slight deviation» so, maybe it is APD. There might not be a cure, but at least if that’s what the doctor ends with, I can get some help in the office:)

So, the ear doctor said it’s probably not my hearing that’s my problem. So he has scheduled a more through test in a couple of months. His leading theory seems to be audio perception issues.. we’ll see. That tracks though. Lol

But to no avail, the new heater struggles to get up to temp. Unless the mains is off, in which case it works fine.

Seems somehow there is a connection between hot and cold, that constantly siphons hot :/
