“They killed Vegas”. Whoever ‘they’ are. Vegas used to have affordable options for food, drinking, shows, hotels, and booze. Last time I was there, all that had been replaced by high prices. Still cool, just not an affordable destination any more.

Disappointed at all the phish hate this week on the skyline. But whatever. Personally, I’d kill to be boarding a plane to sphere this week to see them.

I could have predicted every one of these things for you. However, when I go, I AM the party! I bullshit with the lame people. I drink all the saki they shoot into my mouth. I yell and clap and say “whooooooaaaa” even when the show is boring. And the food is always fine. Obnoxious and over the top.

I blindly caught @ryanmontbleau.bsky.social at the Gathering of the vibes in like 2005 just like this and was immediately into him. Over 20 years now I’ve probably seen him 40-50 times. Could be more, definitely not less.
