Trying to find an artist on vgen that doesn’t draw anime is torture actually, they GOTTA get some style filters or something 🫩 most of my ocs are poc or at least not styled in a way that would translate well to anime.

I do think part of it is that when that was coined we also didn’t have a 24/7 digital misery machine pumping global bad news into our brains constantly. It’s a lot “easier” to create when you don’t have doomscrolling to do and only a handful at a time of trauma to process.

I’m not a comic creator but I’d love to be one day, mentorship options that are easy to find would be such a boon. Ik I’d love the chance to work with a lot of artists and pick their brains, I’ve read a ton and watched a ton on making comics but nothing compares to just being able to ask in person!
