Game review #615! This game was a big part of my childhood, yet somehow I allowed 33 years to pass before picking it up again. It may get a bad rap for having janky controls and unforgiving difficulty, but it's always been a favorite of mine. Click the link for my full review.

Game review #614! I really wanted to like this game. It looks good. It sounds good. But unfortunately the gameplay is far too basic and simple for me. The storyline didn't really connect much with me either. Check out the link for my full review.

Game review #613! I really, really wanted to like this game, but I don't. I think it's a flaming pile of crap, to be honest with you. I can't for the life of me figure out why people like it so much. If you are a fan of this game, please tell me where I went wrong here.

Game review #612! This action RPG holds up surprisingly well. I had just as much fun playing it today as I did as a kid in the 90s. This may be a controversial statement: but I think it is better than A Link to the Past. If you haven't played this game, you should check it out.

Game review #611! This game has haunted me for 26 years, since I was just 18 years old. After more off again/on again gaming sessions than I can count, I finally decided to put my foot down and power through this once and for all. Click the link for my full review.

Almost forgot to post this, but here is my complete list of all movies watched, TV show episodes watched, video games completed, and podcasts listened to for the month of March 2026. Most popular things: Lost and The Sopranos.
People have been clamoring for a remake for years now. Capcom needs to just give us what they want. But if I have faith in any game company it is Capcom so I haven't ruled it out yet.
Video game review #610! I can't believe I've made it this far without reviewing a Metroid Prime game. Turns out, it was well worth the wait, because I absolutely loved it. Even playing on original hardware, it still holds up perfectly today. Click the link for my full review.

It's that time of the year again! My annual best to worst podcast ranking. I hope you enjoy. These podcasts all do such great work.

Video game review #609! Considered by many to be an all-time PS1 great, I just finished playing through it for the very first time ever. How did I like it? Check out the link below for my full review. Spoiler alert: my take on it might be controversial?

Playing this on original hardware tonight.
Suburban Museum to be precise.
The complete contents of yet another one of my VHS tapes in storage. Highlights include: Big Brother 6 and Rockstar INXS finales, Sue Hawk on the Battle of the Network Reality Stars, Dave Chapelle's race draft, Nickelback singing Photograph on Jay Leno, Dominic Monaghan being interviewed by Leno.
I love Nights into Dreams. The whole soundtrack is great. Soft Museum is one of my favorite songs from any video game. Anyone reading this should go check it out immediately.
All podcast episodes listened to, movies watched, TV episodes watched, and video games completed for the month of February 2026.
Re-Review #26! It wasn't my intent to play this game so soon after completing it, but my son has been completely obsessed with this game, and I got dragged into playing through it multiple times with him in the last month or so. I actually liked it a lot more this timed around. Check out my thoughts
Game Review #608! I was not expecting much from "just a PSP game" but this ended up being surprisingly decent! Click the link for my full review.

Video game review #607! I had such high hopes for this game as a kid. It looked like so much fun to play. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy my time with it, and I found it to be a very frustrating affair. Check out the link for my full review.

I don't know how anyone could listen to the podcast and not think it and you are awesome. It's always an exciting day whenever it is I see you've uploaded a new episode.
My annual year end movie ranking! Due to time constraints, I am only ranking my top ten this year. Obviously, these aren't the 10 greatest movies ever, but they are the 10 movies I had the most fun watching in 2025. Check it out.

First month of 2026 in the books! A complete list of all podcasts, movies, TV shows, and video games I completed in January. I was very focused this month, watching 35 episodes of Game of Thrones, 26 episodes of the Traitors, and 18 episodes of this shitty Gremlins show - and not much else.
Video game review #606! Have I been living under a rock the last 18 years? How have I never heard of this game before? I thought this was very creative and fun. Reminded me a bit of Jet Set Radio meets some addictive mobile game. Click the link below for my full review.

I last played through this game 11 years ago, back in 2015. I don't re-review games often, but I had to come back and give this another look after I recently played through Tomb Raider Anniversary and enjoyed it. How would I feel about this one a second time through? Check it out.

Video game review #605! I remember buying this game at a used game store in the mid 2000s. It was packaged with Tetris Worlds. The game didn't leave much of an impression on me. I'm returning 20+ years later to check it out one more time. Click the link for my full review.

Game review #604, and my first game review of 2026 overall. This is a game that I judged too harshly when it first came out. I really enjoyed playing through it again here in 2025, 18 years since the game's initial release. Click the link and check out my full review.
